Tupper Lake Tinman Triathlon Joins TOUGHMAN Family!

TOUGHMAN race organizers have announced that the popular Tupper Lake Tinman Triathlon in New York has joined the TOUGHMAN family. For over three decade, athletes have flocked to Tupper Lake in late June for the annual Tupper Lake Tinman Triathlon, making it one of the longest running races of it's kind in the country. In 2014, the TOUGHMAN Tupper Lake Tinman will mark 32 years of successful racing in the Northeast. The triathlon is set to take place on Saturday, June 28, 2014.

The beauty of an Adirondack Mountain setting only enhances the experience for competitors and their families who find the small town pleasantries are a wonderful addition. Triathletes from the Northeastern United States and Canada put the Tupper Lake Tinman on their running calendars because of the reputation for quality established over the years.

The half iron distance triathlon becomes the latest race to join the family in 2014. It's now the 6th race in the TOUGHMAN Triathlon Series and the 4th new race to join the family. It joins the Deuces Wild Triathlon Festival in Arizona (TOUGHMAN Arizona) and the Ocean Shores Triathlon in Washington (TOUGHMAN Washington State) that have been re-branded into the TOUGHMAN Triathlon Series. The other event is a new half iron distance triathlon in Pell City, Alabama called TOUGHMAN Alabama.

In 2013 TOUGHMAN Indiana; in Richmond, IN; was added to the schedule.

All of the races are qualifiers for the TOUGHMAN Half Iron Series Championship being held in NY.

The 2014 TOUGHMAN Triathlon Series concludes with the 7th running of the TOUGHMAN event in Croton-on-Hudson , New York, which now becomes the Championship Race.
