Brothers Alistair & Jonathan Brownlee Get Book Deal

brownleebookpromo.jpgPenguin has acquired the rights for a book by the dynamic duo, the Olympic and World Champion triathlon brothers Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee. They are the first British brothers to win medals in individual competition at an Olympics since 1900. Alistair, won the triathlon Olympic Gold medal in London and won the ITU World title in 2011. Jonathan was just crowned the 2012 ITU World Triathlon Series Overall Champion, he also won the Olympic Bronze medal in the triathlon this year.

The book is billed as "the definitive Triathlon book, blending their life stories with insights into training, psychology and performance". Swim, Bike, Run by Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee will be published in June 2013 as a Viking hardback, just in time for the start of the Triathlon season. It will also be available as an ebook.
