Triathlon: REV3 sheJAMs Triathlon
When: Sunday, August 26, 2012
Where: Old Orchard Beach, Maine
Divisions: Women Individual, Women Relay
Website: www.shejamstri.com

The REV3 sheJAMs Triathlon will be a unique race that will be limited to 300 women. Revolution3 will setup a world class venue at Old Orchard Beach and allow us, sheJAMS the opportunity to create a life changing experience for women to participate in! Women will be able to race in an Olympic Distance event consisting of a .9mi Swim, 25.51mi Bike and a 6.2mi Run while raising raising money for cancer research, education and patient support programs through the Maine Cancer Foundation!

"The idea of creating a next level for Tri for a Cure participants is a natural progression for those who want to continue with triathlon. Now women from all over New England have the chance to challenge themselves while raising money for the Maine Cancer Foundation ~ Tri for a Cure. The idea of doing an all women's race is very appealing to those who would like to compete in a less competitive atmosphere, especially if it is their first olympic distance race!" - Julie Marchese

All women participants must raise $100 for the cause!

sheJAMS will be offering triathlon training for women wanting to participate. Their 16-week program starts in April. All abilities welcome to join! Visit www.shejamstri.com/shejams-training for more information.

This is another event Revolution3 Triathlon is setting up to help fight cancer. Earlier this year Revolution3 announced a new race to benefit the Ulman Cancer Fund. As well as REV3 Run Across America to Fight Cancer
