HITS, Inc. has announced that the HITS Triathlon Series, the first race series to feature five distances at each event with events taking place at unique destinations all year long, has reduced the price of its full distance triathlon entry fee from $600 to $475. The new low price is available up to 45 days before each event, at which time the price increases to $500.
The first HITS Triathlon Series event kicks off in Palm Springs, December 3-4, 2011, providing the best opportunity for triathletes to race during the winter months. Athletes interested in participating in the full distance have until Monday, October 17, 2011 to register at the reduced price of $475.
HITS' full distance triathlon consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run, making it one of the most challenging triathlon events in the world.
