The sixth running of the Lisboa International Triathlon, which is set to take place on May 5, 2012 at the Parque das Nações, in Lisbon, will feature two new events exclusive to companies and senior management. Race organizers have announced the addition of the Corporate Challenge and CEO Challenge divisions. The new divisions will allow large national and international leadership from various companies test their limits and compete against each other.

The Lisboa International Triathlon is a half iron distance event comprised of 1900 meter swim, 90 mile bike and 21.1 mile run, all on a closed circuit. The event will feature a brand new transition zone inside the Pavilhão Atlântico arena.
The Corporate Challenge is a category devoted entirely to businesses, and is only available in a relay format. The CEO Challenge is exclusive to CEO, CFO, Directors-General and other senior positions who wish to participate.
Participants in the new divisions will be awarded with trophies from first to third place. The remaining competitors who finish the race within the time limit will receive a participation medal.
Registration fees vary from 130 Euros to 300 Euros, depending on the day of advance registration and participation as an individually or relay team. Check the event website for details.
