Ironman World Champion Chris McCormack, fresh of his appearance on the NBC Today Show promoting his book I'm Here to Win, prepares to visit Minneapolis this week, to mingle and race with the fans here.
This week Minneapolis prepares to welcome two of the biggest names in triathlon in celebration of the U.S. launch of the popular TriStar111 triathlon race format. Two-time Ironman World Champion and "Athlete of the Decade" Chris McCormack (MACCA) will race in a match up with Maik Twelsiek, second place finisher at the 2011 Ironman Coeur d'Alene race.
The Aussie and German will race in the first U.S. TriStar111 race to be held in Maple Grove, MN in conjunction with the Maple Grove Triathlon: Dare to TRI on Saturday, August 27th at Weaver Lake Park.
