CHANHASSEN, Minn. (June 27, 2011) - The 2011 Race to the Toyota Cup hosted its third event this past weekend, the Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon (PHLYTRI). Almost halfway through the Series, professional triathletes Alicia Kaye (USA) and Andy Potts (USA) are the current points leaders.
Within the female professional division, Rebeccah Wassner (USA) outlasted Kaye and Laurel Wassner (USA) to win the third race of the seven-event Series. Wassner completed the course in 1:59:36. Among the male professionals, Potts held off Matty Reed (USA) and Greg Bennett (USA) to capture the victory. Pott's time was 1:45:05. Both Wassner and Potts set new course records at the seventh annual event.

The Series now moves on to the Life Time Minneapolis Triathlon, which is set for Saturday, July 9.
The total 2011 Race to the Toyota Cup professional division cash purse includes $584,000 in individual race awards. In addition, a 2011 Toyota vehicle and the coveted Toyota Cup will be awarded to the top female and male champions at the Toyota U.S. Open Triathlon in Dallas, which serves as the Series championship.
New for 2011, the professional division also awards 0.5 points to the fastest swim, cycle and run legs at each event. In the female professional division of the PHLYTRI, American Amanda Stevens boasted the fastest swim with a time of 16:26, while Kaye turned in the fastest bike with a time of 1:02:57. American D'Ann Arthur had the fastest run with a time of 35:16.
In the professional male division, Potts secured the fastest swim with a time of 15:10, while Cameron Dye (USA) turned in the fastest bike with a time of 55:54. Reed had the fastest run with a time of 31:54.
