Various triathlon races around the world took place this weekend (June 4-5, 2011) including three races in the global Ironman 70.3 Series. This had professional triathletes spread out and racing from Hawaii to Switzerland for a chance to gain valuable Kona Qualifying Points or qualifying slots to the Ironman World Championship 70.3 race in Hendorson, Nevada.
Ironman 70.3 Switzerland was the marque event of the weekend with a $50,000 purse prize and 750 KPR points for 1st place. Hawaii and Mosseman had $15,000 up for grabs and 500 KPR points for 1st place.
