The guys behind the grueling EPIC5 Challenge, a 5 Days, 5 Islands, 5 Iron Distance Triathlon race, have a new event in store for those looking for ultra enduracne event. Jason Lester and Endurance Race Group have announced plans for the EPICMAN Challange which will end the 2011 year off and begin 2012 on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. Lester is a 2009 ESPY Award Winner for Best Male Athlete with a Disability.
The EPICMAN Challenge will be the ultimate in ultra-triathlon competitions. EPICMAN is a 7.2 mile swim - 336 mile bike - 78.6 mile run. Non - Stop - on the island of Oahu from December 30, 2011 - January 01, 2012 .
EPICMAN is sure to test the PERSEVERANCE, FLEXIBILITY and MENTAL FORTITUDE of even the most experienced and accomplished of elite athletes.
