louis garneau logoTucson, AZ: TriSports.com is proud to recognize Louis Garneau as the company's first ever Vendor of the Year. Awarded at TriFest, TriSports.com's season kick-off event, over 40 vendors were present to witness the award, and many commented later that they are shooting to earn the award next year. Louis Garneau's commitment to excellence in many different aspects of the vendor/retailer relationship helped to earn them the distinction for 2011. These include early and exclusive product releases, significant freight incentives, nearly a 100% shipping and invoicing accuracy rate, great terms and all around top level service from every part of their organization. As a company, Louis Garneau is very responsive to their retailers' needs and works diligently with TriSports.com to partner in various marketing efforts.

Pierre Perron, International Marketing Director for Louis Garneau, had this to say regarding the award, "At Louis Garneau, the essence of the brand is focused around a desire to innovate, a dedication to design products for athletes of all abilities, the demand that all our products demonstrate a proven performance, and our profound passion for the sports of cycling and triathlon that comes to life in the gear we produce. It is with these founding principles that Louis Garneau will continue to evolve year after year, and it is with the insight from pro athletes including Chrissie Wellington, Chris Legh,
Samantha McGlone, and Joe Gambles that we consistently offer the most innovative products on the market and can achieve milestones such as #1 at the Kona Helmet Count. We are honored to be Vendor of the Year by TriSports.com and we are working hard to make 2012 an even stronger year for Louis Garneau."

Seton Claggett, President and CEO of TriSports.com, added, "We seek relationships with our vendors, not simply business transactions, and Louis Garneau has exemplified what we consider a true partner. The value we hold to them shows through in everything they do, and we truly appreciate that. We look forward to continuing and growing the relationship. We offer up the most sincere congratulations to Louis Garneau for being the inaugural recipient of this newly established annual award!"

Louis Garneau and TriSports.com share similar beginnings, having started in their owners' garages. Today, the two companies share many of the same values, treating employees as family, contributing extensively to the local and endurance communities, focusing on sustainability in their business practices and providing exceptional customer service.
