Item: Louis Garneau Vorttice Aero Helmet
Details: Garneau introduced what they are touting as the world's fastest helmet this past October at the 2010 Ironman World Championship race in Kona. Proven dimpled technology at the front of the Vorttice helmet causes air to flow closely to the helmet. When hitting the "Vortex Generator" at the top of the helmet, the air is accelerated again, so it can glide along to the end of the helmet and eliminate air disturbances. Its unique air intake situated at the highest pressure point on the helmet directs the air along the 3 "evacuation channels" keeping the rider cool and directing the flow of air through and out the helmet. Designed to improve aerodynamic performance, the Vorttice lens is ventilated and included with the helmet. Weight: 12 oz/340 g

Item: Quinton's Transition Towel for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Details: Quinton Nixon, is a triathlete who is doing some fundraising with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training program. He's designed a transition towel for us to use and support a good cause. 1) To help you get out of transition faster at your next race and, more importantly, 2) To raise money and awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, its support programs and its research. They are the perfect size for keeping your transition area clean and compact. They're about 16" x 26" which means they'll fit between the bottom of your front tire and your crank and won't impede on your tri-neighbor's transition area.
