The latest issue of LAVA Magazine contains an advertisement on page 165 that is totally out of this world. It features so many blunders; you wonder who produced it and who approved it? The advertisement is for a race in the new Olympic Distance 5150 Series, being produced by the World Triathlon Corporation. The triathlon ad is for the Miami International Triathlon set to take place next March in Miami, Florida. (click image to enlarge)
The ad features the following blunders:
• Spelling error: Olympic is spelled "olimpic"
• Typo: "Swim 10K Bike 40K Run 1.5K" instead of Swim 1.5K Bike 40K Run 10K
• Wrong: States March 13, 2011 but the website states March 20, 2011
This is the second major blunder in/from the state of Florida this year. Back in October at the Ironman 70.3 Miami race the swim out arch had Swim spelled "Swin Out". (see picture) via @trisportepping
