New Ohio Women's Triathlon for the Cure Series

ohio tri for a cure logo2010 was the inaugural season for HFP's Girls Tri Too Series and due to the enormous amount of support and interest from the triathlon community, HFP is excited to announce that the 2011 series will be partnering and "re-branding" with the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Ohio affiliates and has changed its name to "Ohio Women's Triathlon for the Cure" - an official trademarked name of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

The Ohio Women's Triathlon for the Cure features a beginner friendly distance of a 250 yard swim, followed by a 7 mile bike and finishing with a 2 mile run with 50% of all entry fees going to the following Susan G. Komen Ohio Affiliates.

"After personally battling Breast Cancer this year and participating in the Columbus Race for the Cure in May for the first time, I just knew we (HFP) needed to do something for this great cause. We're so excited to be partnering with the Susan G. Komen Foundation and their Ohio affiliates. It's a perfect match for this exciting women's only series." Jennifer Kurek, co-founder HFP Racing and Breast Cancer Survivor.
