A new and unique triathlon event will debut this Halloween in San Diego with the launch of the new Fearless Triathlon San Diego event. The new triathlon will take place on October 30, 2010 on Fiesta Island in the heart of San Diego's Mission Bay.
Brian Fahmie and Fearless Races is ushering in this unique and exciting race format on Fiesta Island, the birthplace of Triathlon. The Fearless Triathlon race will feature something different, instead of completing a Swim, Bike, and Run as is normal, triathletes will have to complete back-to-back Swim, Bike, Run triathlons before crossing the finish line. Once athletes finish the first Run they'll transition back into their Swim gear and begin the course again, this time with the finish line in their sights. The Mini Sprint race will follow the normal triathlon format of a Swim, Bike, Run before crossing the finish line, on the same course.
