2010 will be the launch year of a new International Triathlon Series. TriGrandPrix is a bold, exciting and unique World Class Series of Triathlon events for elite professional and age group triathletes.
TriGrandPrix mission is to create a safe, professionally organized, world class series of triathlon events for triathletes of all age group and professional abilities. They will launch the series with two events in 2010 and possibly add an additional event. The goal is to expand in 2011 and run five events, in five different countries, thus creating a global TriGrandPrix series. The five events would be run from February to July each year and would cover different distances from Olympic, Half Iron (Double Olympic) and Full Iron Distance events.
One of the TriGrandPrix ambassadors is three-time XTERRA World Champion and the 2008 Ironman Hawaii second place finisher Eneko Llanos of Spain.

• Outrageous Half (TriGrandPrix UK): Half Iron triathlon

• Zarauzko Triatloia (TriGrandPrix Spain): Half Iron triathlon
June 12th, 2010, Zarautz, Spain
The Outrageous Half will take place at the Leybourne Lake Country Park in Kent which is just 30 minutes from London. The Zarautz Triathlon will take place in the Basque region of Northern Spain in the town of Zarautz.
A professional prize purse of £40,000 (approximately $61,833.69 USD) is up for grabs at the first event in Kent, United Kingdom and a €40,000 (approximately $54,175.87 USD) prize purse for the Zarautz, Spain event.
TriGrandPrix is a very different concept to anything that currently exists:
