Here is something just recently announced. The Mentholatum Co. has teamed up with Ironman to launch a topical Ironman Pain Relief products line for consumers.
“Partnering with Ironman sets apart our line and formulas, calling out strong, effective formulations in a category often confusing to consumers,” says Todd Cantrell, Director of the Pain Management Division at The Mentholatum Company. “Consumers who see the Ironman brand on our products will know that they have been formulated to work on the sorest of muscles.”
Got Pain? Well the Ironman Pain Relief products are said to provide fast, soothing relief to overworked muscles, something we as triathletes are fully aware of when training or racing. The product line is formulated to provide pain relief with various combinations of natural menthol, camphor, arnica and horse chestnut oil (depending on the specific product formula).
The Mentholatum Ironman Pain Relief product line will feature the following products:
• Ironman Triple Action Muscle & Joint Roll-On
• Ironman Muscle Rub Gel
• Ironman Extra Strength Muscle Spray

The new topical analgesics products will be available nationwide in drug stores and specialty sporting good stores beginning January 2010.
