Now that racing in the Northern Hemisphere is about over, its time to start planning for next years season. That's a difficult task to do when the race you want to do again or try for the first time doesn't have any information on next years race available. That seems to be the case around the world with the 2010 Ironman 70.3 Monaco triathlon race.
A few weeks ago we posted this: "Also, it is unclear at this time, but signs seem to indicate the demise of the 5-year old Ironman 70.3 Monaco race in Europe." One of the signs that seems to indicate that the race might not be back or has been canceled is that it has been removed from the Ironman 70.3 Series event listing page. If the date was an issue, the race would still be listed, look at how they have the date for the Ironman 70.3 Putrajaya - July 2010 (Exact Date TBA).

The principality of Monaco welcomed Triathletes from all over the world the first Sunday of September for 5 years now and Monaco is willing to perpetuate this rendez-vous in 2010, in 2011, in 2012… Therefore, we know that a triathlon will take place for sure on Sunday 5 of September 2010 and as the Principality of Monaco did, we invite you to save 05/09/10 in your race calendar. It might be time to look at the 2010 Ironman 70.3 Series Race Calendar for a new event to participate in next year.
