Milwaukee, Wisconsin is the new host city for a new triathlon event being setup by Lake Geneva Extreme Sports. The First Annual Milwaukee Bradford Beach Triathlon will be held at Bradford Beach, which lies on the western shore of Lake Michigan, just north of the McKinley Marina near downtown Milwaukee. The bike and run courses will meander around urban neighborhoods in the vicinity of Bradford Beach and utilize sections of the shared-use paths in the area. The race site provides scenic views of the city and a great urban feel for a very memorable triathlon experience.

The inaugural Milwaukee Bradford Beach Triathlon Series will consist of Olympic and Sprint distance triathlons. for individuals and relay teams. The Olympic race will consist of a .9mi Swim, 26mi Bike and a 6.2mi Run while the Sprint race will feature a .5mi Swim, 12mi Bike and a 3.1mi Run.
The swims will take place in Lake Michigan. The projected water temperature is 52-60 degrees, so wetsuits are strongly recommended. The bike course will be spectator friendly with multiple short course loops. Both races will use a 3.8 mile bike loop course, so the Olympic distance course will consist of 7 laps while the Sprint distance race will consist of 3 laps. The run for both of the events will be and out and back course along the Milwaukee Lakefront.
Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers overall as well as the top three male and female finishers in each age division.
The new race will be part of the Lake Geneva Extreme Sports Series.
Registration is currently open for new Milwaukee Bradford Beach Triathlon event in Wisconsin.
