Triathlete Magazine is reporting that 2008 Ironman World Champion Chrissie Wellington along with TeamTBB teammates Belinda Granger and Hillary Biscay are leaving TeamTBB. The super trio will be joining forces with Samantha McGlone and Canadian coach Cliff English to create new elite training group.

According to the article, the super trio discussed their departure from TeamTBB following this year’s Hawaii Ironman. It seems that time for change and sponsors were a factor in the super trio's decision to move on.

Under TeamTBB and coach Brett Sutton's directions the three team members managed to win races all over the world this year. Besides the three other TeamTBB members has stellar years with Ironman wins (Chris McDonald, Stephen Bayliss, Bella Comerford, Erika Csomor).

The success the three have experienced will be a tough act to duplicate. We will just have to wait and see the results. According to the article “The benefits outweigh any possible negative,” English says.
