Highlights from Friday
- Ironman World Championship Coverage You can interact with us, so drop us a comment and we will get back to you...
- TRIjuice interview with Chris McCormack post Ironman 70.3 Pucon in Chile, South America. The interview lasted 25 minutes, which was more than I was expecting. I get him to describe being on cloud nine after his Ironman World Championship win in Hawaii. I asked him how a professional celebrates a win like that! Does he party or not? He was very open… you can listen to the interview with this link (MP3 format)
- We've uploaded pictures today from the last 2 days, check the Ironman Coverage link above to see them.

- There was a lot of cloud cover here today, which made it seem some what cooler. We will have to see if that's the case tomorrow.
Highlights from Thursday:
- Rachel and I picked up our media credentials
- We attended the Ironman World Championship Pre-Race Press Conference where the top five professional men's and women's finishers from the 2007 event, in addition to two-time World Champion, Normann Stadler were on-hand to participate in a Q & A.
- We toured the huge expo area and talked with several vendors.
- I got to meet John Collins, one of the 15 first Ironman competitors in the sport. On February 18, 1978, 15 competitors, including John Collins, took on a challenge that later become known as the Ironman. John Collins finished in just over 17 hours, the time that has become the official cut off time for the event.
- I got to talk with Bella Comerford and Stephen Bayliss.
Mark your calendars because NBC will be airing the 2008 Ford Ironman World Championship telecast on Saturday, December 13, at 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. EST.
