Registration for two popular European Ironman triathlons opens tomorrow July 14th, 2008, Ironman Austria and Ironman Switzerland. If you hope to compete next year at one of these events make sure to register early!

The 10th Annual Ironman Austria race was a sell out this year and is expected to be next year as well. The 2009 Ironman Austria triathlon event which takes place in Klagenfurt is scheduled for Sunday, July 5th, 2009. Registration will open tomorrow at 6:00 PM EST. Registration for next year's Ironman Switzerland triathlon event which takes place in Zurich is also scheduled to open registration tomorrow, not time has been stated on the website. The 2009 Ironman Switzerland is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 12th, 2009. The entry fee is EURO 400.00/CHF 600.00 (roughly $635 USD or $588 if you pay in Swiss Francs) until December 31st, 2008. The entry fee goes up January 1st, 2009 to EURO 450.00/CHF 680.00.
