Aqua Sphere Launches the Vista Swim Goggle

Aqua Sphere’s newest innovation provides a sleeker profile, greater durability and panoramic views

Vista, CA (October, 2007) - Aqua Sphere, the leader in high-end, innovative swim products, revolutionizes aquatic eyewear with the Vista Cross-Swim Goggle ™ – a brand-new hybrid product offering the wide views, comfort and fit of the company’s popular Seal and Seal XP products, with the performance of a competitive swimming goggle.

“The design of the Seal and Seal XP were based off of SCUBA masks, which naturally offer a wider field of vision, provide a better seal and are more universal than traditional swim goggles when it comes to fitting face shapes. We’ve taken that technology and applied it to our goggle development process to come up with a completely new Cross-Swim Goggle ™, the VISTA” says Olivier Laguette, director of marketing for Aqua Sphere.

Designed with leisure and serious fitness and open-water swimmers in mind, the streamlined Vista virtually eliminates drag with its low-profile and hard, contoured frame. “Vista is geared toward fitness swimmers and triathletes who know that proper fit and comfort matter during a workout or in a race,” says Laguette.

A flexible thermoplastic rubber material molded over a rigid, one-piece frame provides the Vista with phenomenal fit, comfort, style and the durability to withstand normal weathering and exposure to common pool chemicals.

Keeping water out and eyes safe, Aqua Sphere’s patented wrap-around, 180-degree panoramic lenses offer 100% UVA/UVB protection. The 100% hypo-allergenic silicone skirt further safeguards swimmers by creating a comfortable, leak-resistant seal for the most comfortable swimming experience possible.

Vista’s new Quick-Fit ™ technology – an updated easy-adjust, one-touch buckle system –allows swimmers to fine-tune their fit even while they swim, so they can focus on their workout instead of fidgeting with their eyewear.

The Vista Cross-Swim Goggle comes in red, orange, navy and aqua blue and retails for $34.99. It will be available from authorized Aqua Sphere dealers throughout the U.S. in October after its official launch at the Kona Ironman Championships in October 2007, where Aqua Sphere is sponsoring the swim portion of the race. The Vista is available at Dicks Sporting Goods and other fine sporting goods and swim specialty retailers. For stores carrying Aqua Sphere products, log on to www.aquasphereswim.com
