A while back I was visiting the Inside Triathlon website and noticed the interesting survey they has posted on their site. I wasn't sure what to think at the time, but I thought it was interesting for sure. The magazine was looking for input from triathlete's on the topic of Sex for a future article. At the time, I wasn't able to respond and when I went back to fill it out it had closed, darn! Well it didn't matter because they had over 1800 other athletes responded to the survey and now they have tabulated, analyzed and published the results. They even got got Ironman Hawaii runner-up Desiree Ficker to pose for Sex Issue cover. When you first see the cover you might not think it's a triathlon magazine, but it is. After all the complaints these triathlon magazines get about their swimsuit issues, I can just imagine the complaints they are going to get about this one, oh boy!

They had some pretty interesting questions and they got some eye opening results. Here are just the results for 2 of the questions they asked:

-Would you miss a workout to have sex?
  60% - Yes
  40% - No

-Would you pass up sex to get a workout in?
  45% - Yes
  55% - No

It would have been interesting if they had also asked the respondents if they were: Married, In a Committed Relationship or Single. Just in case you don't have a subscription to Inside Triathlon, they have the sex survey results posted on their website (link).
